WISDOM TEETH AND THE YEAR IN REVIEW PART 1

Well . . . my wisdom teeth were pulled today which put an official end to my 2007 race season. The year went pretty well. Three Cat 4 victories and a few other podium finishes helped me accomplish my ultimate goal for 2007 of upgrading to Cat 3.

Cyclocross season went well also. I wasn't able to pull off a victory in an A race like I had hoped, but I did manage three top 5 finishes.

It will soon be time to set my goals for 2008 and I can only hope I have as much success next year as I did this year. One thing that has already been set though is the team I will be riding for. That's right, after 2 1/2 years on Team MACK I have decided to race elsewhere. Another teammate and I will both be riding for Athletes By Design (ABD) in 2008.

After this next week comes to an end I should be able to hit the road and begin training for the next season. Goals should be set by then, my new bike should have arrived, and I will be energized (yeah right) and ready to start 2008 off on the right track. I'll keep you posted . . .
